5 Photo Tips That Sell Faster
If your listing isn’t getting clicks, it’s almost always the photos. Cayman buyers scroll fast; your job is to stop the thumb. Use these five simple moves to make your place look brighter, bigger, and worth the message.
1) Shoot in daylight — lights on. Open blinds, kill harsh shadows, and turn on every practical. Natural light + warm lamps reads “fresh” instead of “dull.”
2) Horizontal framing only. Most sites and shares crop wide. Shoot landscape from chest height so walls stay straight and the room feels balanced.
3) Declutter like a hotel. Clear counters, hide bins and cables, fold towels, and remove five random items from every room. Empty space photographs as “value.”
4) One exterior hero shot. Straight-on, slightly off-center, eye level. If it’s canal or oceanfront, anchor the waterline; if it’s garden, lead with the path.
5) Tell a mini story in 8–12 images. Start with exterior, then living, kitchen, primary bed/bath, secondary spaces, and finish with the best view.
Two bonus wins: wipe lenses (phone smudges murder sharpness), and tap-to-focus so windows aren’t blown out. Title + 8 clean photos will beat 25 mediocre shots every day on a small island with picky buyers.
