Digicel Charged Me $200 for Roaming - While I Was Sitting at Home!

Check your Digicel bills carefully people. I got hit with $200 in roaming charges last month. The kicker? I never left the island. I was literally sitting in my living room in George Town. Called customer service THREE times. First rep said it was a system error and would be fixed. Second rep said she could not see any error and blamed my phone settings. Third rep put me on hold for 20 minutes then said they would escalate it. That was 6 weeks ago. Still waiting for that escalation. Still got charged. Nobody can explain why my phone was apparently roaming while connected to their own tower 2 miles from my house. If this happened to me it is happening to others. Check your bills!
