1. What ListCayman is

ListCayman is a free online classifieds platform for the Cayman Islands. Users may post and browse listings across multiple categories including, but not limited to: real estate, vehicles, boats, jobs, buy & sell, personals, and cryptocurrency & AI.

ListCayman is not a broker, agent, dealer, financial advisor, investment advisor, money transmitter, exchange, escrow service, employment agency, dating service, or licensed professional of any kind. We are a notice board — nothing more.

2. No advice, no endorsement

Nothing on this website constitutes legal, financial, investment, tax, employment, medical, or any other form of professional advice. Listings, descriptions, prices, photos, and any other content on this site are provided by third-party users and do not represent the views, opinions, or recommendations of ListCayman or its operators.

The presence of a listing on ListCayman does not imply that we endorse, verify, recommend, or guarantee the listing, the person or entity behind it, or the goods, services, property, or opportunities described.

3. User-submitted content & accuracy

All listing details — including titles, descriptions, photos, prices, contact information, and any claims made — are provided solely by the user who submitted the listing. ListCayman does not independently verify any information.

We make no representation or warranty that any listing is accurate, truthful, current, complete, or free from errors, omissions, or misrepresentation. You must conduct your own independent research and due diligence before taking any action based on a listing, including but not limited to: property inspections, title searches, background checks, vehicle history reports, identity verification, financial verification, and independent professional advice.

4. Transactions are between users only

ListCayman is not a party to any transaction that may result from a listing. We do not handle, process, facilitate, guarantee, or insure any payment, deposit, escrow, contract, delivery, exchange, trade, or transfer of any kind.

All communication, negotiation, agreement, payment, and performance occurs directly and exclusively between users. Any dispute, loss, damage, claim, or liability arising from a transaction or interaction between users is solely between those users. ListCayman has no responsibility or obligation in relation to any such matter.

5. Cryptocurrency, digital assets & AI

ListCayman allows users to post listings related to cryptocurrency, digital assets, blockchain technology, mining equipment, AI tools, and related services. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree that:

• ListCayman is not a cryptocurrency exchange, broker, custodian, wallet provider, or money services business of any kind;
• We do not facilitate, process, hold, transmit, or guarantee any cryptocurrency or digital asset transaction;
• Cryptocurrency and digital asset transactions are irreversible and carry significant risk of total loss;
• Prices of cryptocurrencies and digital assets are highly volatile and may change rapidly;
• You are solely responsible for verifying the identity and legitimacy of any counterparty, and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements;
• ListCayman accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss, fraud, scam, theft, or damage arising from any cryptocurrency or digital asset transaction or interaction facilitated through or originating from this platform;
• AI tools, software, and services listed on this platform are provided by third-party users. ListCayman makes no claims regarding the quality, safety, legality, or fitness for purpose of any AI product or service.

6. Personals & anonymous messaging

ListCayman provides an anonymous messaging feature for certain categories, including personals. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree that:

• ListCayman does not verify the identity, age, background, or intentions of any user;
• You interact with other users entirely at your own risk;
• ListCayman is not a dating service, matchmaking service, or background-check provider;
• Personal ad listings are reviewed before publication, but this review is for basic content moderation only and does not constitute verification or endorsement of the person or the content;
• You must never share sensitive personal information (financial details, home address, government ID numbers) through the messaging system;
• ListCayman accepts no liability for any harm, loss, emotional distress, harassment, fraud, or any other negative outcome arising from interactions between users, whether through our messaging system or otherwise.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• ListCayman, its owners, operators, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates (collectively, “the Operators”) disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, and non-infringement;
• The Operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages of any kind, including but not limited to: loss of money, profit, data, business, opportunity, goodwill, or reputation, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) this website, any listing, any transaction, any communication, or any interaction with any other user;
• This limitation of liability applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if the Operators have been advised of the possibility of such damages;
• In no event shall the total aggregate liability of the Operators for all claims related to this website exceed zero dollars ($0.00 USD).

8. Assumption of risk

You expressly acknowledge and agree that your use of ListCayman and any interaction with other users, listings, or content is entirely at your own risk. You assume full responsibility for all risks associated with using this site, including but not limited to the risk of financial loss, fraud, misrepresentation, property damage, personal injury, or any other harm.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ListCayman and the Operators from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of this website;
• Any listing or content you submit;
• Any transaction or interaction with another user;
• Your violation of these terms; or
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

10. Content ownership & licence

When you submit a listing or any other content, you confirm that:

• You have the legal right to use and publish the text, photos, and any other material you upload;
• Your content does not infringe anyone else's intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights; and
• Your content is not illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or otherwise harmful.

You grant ListCayman a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to display, store, copy, resize, and distribute your listing content and photos for the purpose of operating and promoting the website. You may request removal of your listing at any time, however we may retain backup copies and logs.

11. Prohibited content & account termination

You must not use ListCayman to post or distribute:

• Fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive listings;
• Illegal content, or content that promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
• Spam, unsolicited advertising, or automated bulk submissions;
• Harassing, threatening, abusive, hateful, or discriminatory material;
• Sexually explicit material involving minors;
• Malware, phishing links, or other harmful technology;
• Content that belongs to someone else without their permission; or
• Any content that violates applicable Cayman Islands or international law.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without notice, to edit, hide, or permanently remove any listing or content, suspend or terminate any user account, and refuse future access to any person we believe has violated these terms or poses a risk to users, the site, or our reputation. No refund, credit, or compensation is owed.

12. Privacy & data

Contact details you submit (name, email, phone) are used to publish your listing and to allow interested parties to reach you. For personals listings, contact details are not published — communication occurs through our anonymous messaging system.

We may use your email address to send important notices about the site, your listings, or your account. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any information transmitted over the internet, and you submit information at your own risk.

We may collect and store technical data such as IP addresses, browser type, and access timestamps for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention purposes.

13. Third-party links & services

This site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. We do not control, endorse, or assume any responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Cayman Islands, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms or your use of ListCayman shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Cayman Islands.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if it cannot be modified, it shall be severed. All remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire agreement & changes

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ListCayman regarding your use of this website. We may update these terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
